Who this is for

For people who take the mountain seriously without taking themselves too seriously

There is a version of this industry that thinks technical clothing has to come with a straight face. Expedition language on a jacket that will spend its life on a chairlift. Ratings nobody explains. A tone that assumes you are either a professional alpinist or not worth talking to.

We build for the people in between, which is nearly everyone: hikers, trail runners, skiers, riders and everyday explorers who move through several worlds with the same sharp, adaptable head on. Gear as smart as the person wearing it — real technical performance, and the personality the category usually forgets.

  • Community

The brand is built with the people who use it, not broadcast at them. Riders and runners test what we make before it is signed off, and the ones who are good at it end up shaping the next version.

  • Sharpness

A raven solves problems. So does good kit. Sharpness means the clever detail rather than the extra feature — and a range small enough that every piece has a reason to exist.

  • Performance

Where a number matters, we publish it. 3-layer, 20K/20K, fully taped. Materials, fit, country of manufacture and care on every product page — not adjectives.

The range

Five worlds, one head

Raven Works is built around five worlds — mountain and hiking, trail running, skiing, cycling, and lifestyle. Not five separate brands wearing the same logo, but one way of thinking applied to five kinds of day.

Snow is where we started, because it is the hardest of the five to get right and the one that proves the system. AW26 is twenty-seven pieces of it. The rest are on the way, in that order, and we would rather close one properly than open five badly.

The name

A raven does an alpine winter in three layers

Corvids hold their temperature through a Sierra Nevada January with no zips, no spare kit and no going indoors. They do it structurally: fine feathers against the skin, coverts over them, and an outer layer kept waterproof by constant maintenance.

Every product name comes off that anatomy. BROOD™ against the skin. COVERT™ and HACKLE™ for the warmth. PREEN™ for maintenance. TALON™ for the part that has to hold. If a new piece cannot be placed in the bird, it is a piece we do not need to make.
