AW26: The Whole Range
Share
Twenty-seven garments and ten frames. Every one of them occupies one slot in one system, and none of them duplicates a job another piece already does. Here is the whole of AW26, in the order you would actually build a kit.
Against the skin
BROOD™ Half-Zip — men's and women's
Midweight synthetic baselayer with a deliberately relaxed cut. Moves moisture away from the body, holds warmth through long days outside, and the half-zip gives you the fastest temperature control in the system. Not compressive — cut so you can layer over it properly.
Black, navy, white. Regular Fit.
The warmth
COVERT™ Jacket — men's and women's
Synthetic insulated midlayer for alpine use — skiing, touring, climbing, hiking. Warm enough to wear alone on the approach, thin enough to disappear under a shell when the weather turns.
Black, navy. Regular Fit.
HACKLE™ Jacket, Hooded Jacket and Vest
The other midlayer, in three forms. The jacket and vest are unisex; the hooded jacket comes unisex and women's. The vest is the one people underrate — core warmth with the arms completely free, which is what you want on a long climb where a full jacket has you overheating in ten minutes.
Black, navy (white on the women's hooded). Regular Fit.
The shells
TALON™ Jacket and Pants — men's and women's
The full-commitment shell. 3-layer hardshell, 20K/20K waterproof and breathable, fully taped seams, helmet-compatible hood, pit zips, pockets sized to open with gloves on, YKK waterproof front zip with a double slider. No insulation — that belongs one layer down where you can take it off.
Cut Loose to go over the whole system. The men's jacket runs to nine colours, including aquamarina and yellow; the women's in black, navy and white.
PREEN™ Parka — unisex
Single-layer waterproof parka, sized to go on over your kit when the rain moves in. Lightweight, packable, taped seams. It is an extra shield rather than a main technical layer, and it folds away when you do not need it.
Black, navy. Loose Fit.
Resort: insulation and shell in one
MURMUR™ Jacket and Pants — men's and women's
2-layer waterproof construction with synthetic insulation built in. One piece, one decision, warm on a chairlift. The right answer when your output stays flat all day and you are never going to strip a layer on a lift.
The widest colour range in the resort line: black, khaki, navy, red, sky-blue, plus white on the women's. Regular Fit.
ROOST™ Jacket and Parka
Insulated and windproof rather than waterproof — warmer for the weight, because it is not carrying a membrane it does not need. For cold-and-dry rather than cold-and-wet. Jacket in men's and women's, parka unisex.
Black, khaki, navy. Regular Fit.
Off the mountain
The LEDGE™ Parkas — women's
North, South, East and West. Long synthetic insulated parkas built for the city: full-length front zip, hood, cut long for coverage below the hip, sized to layer over whatever you are already wearing rather than over a technical kit.
Black, khaki, navy, with forest on South Ledge. Regular Fit.
PERCH™ Jacket — men's
The men's urban insulated jacket. Hip length rather than long, warm enough for a genuinely cold day, unobtrusive enough that it does not announce itself. The jacket you own when you do not want to own two.
Black, forest, navy. Regular Fit.
SHEEN™ Parka — men's and women's
The waterproof one. A rain parka rather than an insulated one, for days that are wet rather than genuinely cold — which in most European cities is more of the winter than people admit.
Black, navy. Regular Fit.
Eyewear — sunglasses
Four glacier frames, all unisex, all with parts that come off. Side panels close the gap at the temples where light bounces up off the snow; a brow guard blocks what comes over the top. Take them off and you have an ordinary pair of sunglasses.
LORE™ Sunglasses
The everyday shape. A squared lens with deep coverage at the temple and removable side panels — a glacier sunglass built on a frame you would wear at the trailhead. Category 3 lens.
Black or white frame; smoke, revo blue or revo red lens.
CORAX™ Sunglasses
The round lens of classic mountaineering eyewear, rebuilt light, with full-wrap removable side panels. Category 3 lens.
Black or white frame; smoke, revo blue or revo red lens.
VANE™ Sunglasses
A single cylindrical shield with the field of view of a goggle and the weight of a sunglass. Wraps far enough to kill side light on its own, with a removable brow guard and side panels for when it is coming from everywhere.
Black or white frame; smoke, revo blue, revo red or photochromic lens.
PINION™ Sunglasses
The most protective frame in the range, and the one that strips down fastest. A spherical shield lens — curved on both axes for a wider view and less distortion at the edges — under a removable brow guard, with removable side panels at the temples.
Black or white frame; smoke, revo blue, revo red or photochromic lens.
Eyewear — goggles
Six goggles, unisex, split two ways: cylindrical or spherical lens, and framed or frameless. Cylindrical curves side to side only — simpler and lighter. Spherical curves on both axes for a wider, flatter view. A frame takes knocks; no frame gets you the field of view.
CULMEN™ Goggles
The most technical goggle in the range. Spherical lens, frameless, with vents across the top that move air through before your breath settles on it. The one that has the fewest bad days.
Fourteen colourways — black, white, blue, red and pink frames, black, fluor and colour-matched straps; smoke, revo gold, revo silver, revo blue or photochromic lens.
CROWN™ Goggles
The same spherical frameless lens in a sealed build with a clean, uninterrupted lens face. Same field of view, fewer parts.
Black, blue or red frame; smoke, revo gold, revo blue or revo red lens.
QUILL™ Goggles
Frameless, with an oversized cylindrical lens carried out past the corners of your eyes — the widest view in the cylindrical line, with nothing cropping your peripheral vision.
Black or white frame; smoke, revo gold, revo silver, revo blue or photochromic lens.
WHET™ Goggles
Frameless and cylindrical, cut close to the face for a low-profile fit that sits flat under a helmet. The one to look at if other goggles push your helmet up. Wide strap.
Twelve colourways — black, white, blue, red and pink frames, black, fluor and colour-matched straps; smoke, revo silver, revo red, revo blue, revo pink or photochromic lens.
JACK™ Goggles
Between the two ends of the range: a cylindrical lens in a frame trimmed back to the minimum. Keeps the protection at the edge without the bulk, and reads smaller on the face.
Black or white frame; smoke, revo gold, revo silver, revo blue or photochromic lens.
ROOK™ Goggles
The straightforward one. A cylindrical lens in a full frame that holds it on all four sides — built to take knocks in a pack, on a chairlift, or at the bottom of a bad landing.
Black or white frame; smoke, revo gold, revo silver, revo blue or photochromic lens.
Reading the range
Two fits. Regular is cut close with room for one layer underneath — most of the range. Loose is built to go over a full kit, and that is TALON™ jacket and pants and the PREEN™ parka. In both cases take your normal size; the room is already in the pattern.
Men's pieces run S to XL, women's XS to L. Unisex pieces — HACKLE™ jacket and vest, ROOST™ parka, PREEN™ parka — run S to XL on the men's block.
Everything is covered by the statutory guarantee, and everything is built to be washed and re-proofed rather than replaced.
If you are starting from nothing
Buy the shell first. It determines what conditions you can go out in at all, and it is the piece you will keep longest. TALON™ if there is a climb in your day, MURMUR™ if you are mostly on resort.
Then a midlayer — HACKLE™ or COVERT™. Then BROOD™ underneath.
In that order, because a shell plus a midlayer can imitate an insulated jacket, and an insulated jacket cannot imitate a shell.
