Worn against the skin. BROOD™ is a midweight synthetic knit that moves moisture away from the body and holds warmth through long days outside. Not compressive — cut so you can actually layer over it. The half-zip is there for temperature control on the move.

Everything here is INSPIRED BY a feather

Coverts are the small feathers that layer over the base of the wing. Hackles sit at the throat and lift when a bird needs to hold heat. Brood feathers sit against the skin. Preening is what keeps the whole system waterproof.

A raven survives an alpine winter with three layers and no zips. We took the naming — and the logic — from there.
